In the era of digital economy, how to make IDC an important growth point for operator revenue?

The domestic IDC market has become an important component of the national digital economy. On the one hand, due to the needs of business development, Internet industry customers have a strong demand for data center resources; on the other hand, the rapid evolution of network architecture such as the Internet of Things, 5G, cloud computing, and big data, and the continuous enrichment of network applications have resulted in a large number of IDC rooms and Bandwidth requirements. At present, the government, enterprises, or network operators, Internet, financial and other industrial organizations are vigorously building data centers. Domestic operators with natural advantages in network exports account for more than 65% of the domestic IDC market.
Bonfire has been thinking about how to help operators transform their business and make IDC an important growth point for operator revenue. After nearly 10 years of ICT transformation and experience accumulation, Bonfire has formed mature products and solutions in various industries. With its strength, it recently won the bid for Beijing Telecom IDC's smart operation project.
Analysis status Clear direction
At present, the IDC construction of operators has been initially completed and a large number of IDC parks have been formed. The main work is focused on IDC operations. IDC is not only a source of revenue growth for the telecommunications industry itself, but also an accelerator to promote the transformation of operators' networks and digital services. Operators want to get a slice of the digital economy. It is necessary to use IDC as an opportunity to build basic capabilities, as well as a higher level of platform and application-side capabilities. In order to improve the profitability of IDC, the concept of IDC data services is becoming more and more important. Operators must not only provide fast and secure networks, but also provide network management services such as server supervision and traffic monitoring. The more PaaS and SaaS-level service requirements come. The bidding for the Beijing Telecom IDC smart operation project is the confirmation of this development trend.
Optimization Management Smart Operation
The most basic capability of IDC is a highly reliable and secure computer room and network environment. Operational modes are also gradually changing from information storage to computing and on-demand access. The operation and maintenance management system of existing data centers, such as environmental monitoring, server load, and energy consumption, all operate independently and cannot be uniformly controlled. At the same time, the entry and exit of the computer room are all offline modes for the operation records of the equipment. There is a huge hidden danger in the operation and safety management of the computer room.
The FiberHome IDC integrated management platform used in the Beijing Telecom IDC smart operation project is the evolution of the FitI-BOM (Intelligent Building Integrated Management Platform) in specific application scenarios. FitI-BOM can establish day-to-day operation models for equipment and systems in buildings and buildings, effectively improve the level of building operations safety management, and can effectively manage systems, equipment, and personnel in multiple ways.
Integrated management platform supports integrated management of multiple subsystems, including integrated monitoring system, automatic inspection, sensor reconstruction, visual management, mobile terminal, and alarm linkage. In the IDC scenario, after upgrading and retrofitting the cabinet with RFID sensors, the NB-IoT network is connected to the FitI-BOM platform to realize automatic remote identification, inventory, and positioning of important assets such as network equipment and servers in the cabinet. The management system is a sub-module of the integrated management platform. It is mainly aimed at the management of people (visitors) and provides visitors with convenient visit booking and admission registration functions, including reservation system, visitor self-service terminal, barrier gate, access control system, and personnel positioning. System and so on. Through the centralized management of security systems such as access control systems, video surveillance systems, perimeter alarm systems, and with functions such as face recognition and personnel positioning, we have built a comprehensive security protection system to improve the IDC management level.
Interaction Experience Guarantee Operation
In order to better demonstrate the capabilities of Beijing Telecom's IDC application side, Fiberhome upgraded its existing reception center to a multi-functional display center. The exhibition center maintains the integrity and continuity of functional design, while simultaneously having a variety of forms. Using Bonfire's FitI-VOM (Interactive Visualization Comprehensive Display Platform) for a variety of expansion applications, holographic projection performance can be configured to display data center core equipment, business linkage, and other contents, using the principle of interference and diffraction to record and reproduce the true three-dimensionality of objects. The image produces a fantastic dynamic interactive experience. After the exhibition center is transformed, it can achieve the "three-in-one" effect, that is, the completion of spatial planning, real-time data visualization and interactive display customization, and overall improvement of the display capability of the data center.
FitI-BOM and FitI-VOM are currently the most mature and widely used products. By superimposing products to form innovative projects and innovating project replication to drive industry expansion, Bonfire will do its utmost to help operators transform and upgrade.
