CTI Forum (ctiforum.com) May 10 news (compiler / Lao Qin): London, United Kingdom, Capita PLC (LON:CPI) said that it has won an extension to provide audience services for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) contract.
The deal extends Capita's contract with the BBC from the initial five-year period and is likely to be achieved within the next two years.
After Capita’s new CEO, Jonathan Lewis, issued a series of profit warnings, the company announced that it will undergo major reforms. The news is encouraging.
Lewis has been in charge of the company since December last year. He tried to simplify the business by selling departments. He previously admitted that the company's distribution in many markets is too extensive.
After renewing the contract with the BBC, Capita will continue to provide this public broadcaster with audience feedback, creative programming ideas, and new ways to encourage public participation.
Last week, Volkswagen Group UK announced that it will cooperate with outsourcer Capita for 11 years of customer service cooperation.
Last month, after a period of exclusive negotiations, Capita did not win an outsourcing contract with the British Airways contact center.
